Ellen is a non-profit professional with over two decades of experience in community development and fundraising in Philadelphia and internationally. Prior to joining LCD she served as Chief Strategy Officer at Disability Pride Pennsylvania, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission to promote disability awareness and inclusion. Ellen serves on the Advisory Board of Heroic Gardens, a female led non-profit providing mental health services to Veterans through horticulture therapy, and as the co-chair for the PA Link’s Aging and Disability Resource Committee. Her commitment to community service is deeply rooted in the values instilled by her immigrant grandparents, who exemplified the American dream and the importance of giving back.
