Joyce joined LCD in 2024 as a staff attorney in the Medical Legal Partnership unit.  She was born and raised in New York City, moved to Houston, Texas and now has returned to the East Coast.   She has a B.A. From Barnard College and J.D. from Boston University.  She previously worked as a Legal Aid Attorney and was an 8^th grade ELA teacher.  Joyce’s favorite thing about her work is being able to assist the low-income disabled community access justice and solve their legal issues.
