Sydney joined LCD in 2024 as a staff attorney for the Medical-Legal Partnership Initiative. She supports the Medical Legal Partnership Initiative by providing legal services to clients with Keystone First Insurance, as well as by providing onsite legal services at Nemours Children’s Health, Philadelphia. Sydney is originally from Minnesota but has lived in Philadelphia for the past nine years. She holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey School of Law, as well as a Master of Bioethics from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and. Sydney’s favorite thing about LCD is its Medical-Legal Partnership service model, which brings legal services directly to clients and assists them in improving their mental and physical wellbeing.
