Legal Clinic for the Disabled exists to confront challenges head-on. In 2025, we delivered extended legal services to over 1,500 individuals with disabilities, ensuring they had legal protections and support systems necessary to live safely, securely, and with dignity. Our clients experience poverty and more than half face housing instability or serious medical conditions. Through our legal advocacy, we help clients:

• Remain safely housed and address disputes with landlords and utility providers
• Secure and maintain health insurance and essential medical benefits
• Stabilize income through public benefits advocacy
• Protect families through custody matters, child support, wills, powers of attorney, and other life-planning documents
• Obtain accommodations, challenge discrimination, and navigate complex bureaucratic systems
