LCD interns gain valuable experience through exposure to the full range of our work and mentorship from senior staff attorneys.
We offer the opportunity to work with a significantly disadvantaged section of the community, and our interns report great satisfaction from helping change a person’s living conditions, health outcomes, or financial situation. As an intern, you could be involved in:
- Preparing legal research and writing
- Conducting client interviews
- Participating in Community Legal Outreach Clinics
- Working within a Medical-Legal Partnership environment
- Representing clients
Internships are unpaid, and eligible students are encouraged to apply for funding and academic credit.
