The PEPP Tenant Resource Guide contains information on housing resources, including where to go for emergency shelter, legal assistance, and rental assistance, how to prepare for an eviction hearing, and how to address housing discrimination. Access the guide here.
Azalea Summer of Maps, with LCD’s help, analyzed housing data from Licenses and Inspections in order to better understand the correlation between housing, disabilities, and health concerns. Learn more and view the map.

Disability Rights Pennsylvania helps people who are experiencing a problem or have a question related to their disability through advice, referrals, advocacy, and legal action.
The PA Office for Vocational Rehabilitation Services provides training and services to help people with disabilities achieve and maintain employment.
Unsure about your options for health insurance? PA Health Access Network can guide you through the process of enrolling in health care coverage. Call their helpline at 877-570-3642.
Report discrimination based on disability to the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations or the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
Housing and Utilities:
PhillyTenant provides various resources for Philadelphia tenants, including information about subsidized housing, requesting property repairs, and the legal eviction process. Call their hotline for assistance at 267-443-2500.
The Tenant Union Representative Network (TURN) advocates for Philadelphia tenants and provides weekly Landlord-Tenant Know Your Rights webinars. Contact them at 215-940-3900.
Apply for assistance with paying your utility bills through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
The Philadelphia Office of Homeless Services (OHS) can provide support and shelter if you are facing homelessness. Call their Homeless Prevention Hotline at 215-686-7177 or visit a city-funded homeless intake center.
Food Access:
The Philadelphia food and meal finder can help you locate sites that offer hot meals and groceries.
Domestic Violence:
The National Domestic Violence Hotline provides confidential call, chat, and text support if you are experiencing abuse. Call 1-800-799-7233 or text “START” to 88788.
The WOAR Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence offers free, confidential support and counseling to those who have experienced sexual assault or harrassment. Call their 24/7 hotline at 215-985-3333.
Mental Health:
Call, text, or chat with a trained crisis professional from the National Mental Health Crisis Line by dialing 988.
Financial Help and Public Benefits:
Certified financial counselors through Clarifi can help you create a budget, save for the future, and reduce debt. Contact them at 215-563-5665.
To learn more about benefits available to you, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), contact your local County Assistance Office.
Do you receive Social Security benefits, or are you looking to apply? Find your local field office, complete application forms online, and view other information through the Social Security Administration.
