Sona joined LCD in 2025 as a staff attorney for the Medical-Legal Partnership and Housing Initiatives. Born in India, Sona grew up in Queens, NY, and later moved to Doylestown, PA. Sona attended Temple University and received her B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy in 2020. After graduation, she moved to D.C. and earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2024. Sona is happy to be back in Philly, serving the community as part of LCD. She considers it a great privilege and responsibility to be able to learn about and work with her clients to translate their stories into legal advocacy.
